Privacy Policy for RafticTask4

Fibreworks Consulting AS ("we," "us," or "our") built the RafticTask4 app as a commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Fibreworks Consulting AS, a company based in Norway, and is available exclusively in Norway. RafticTask4 is designed for adult employees to receive work assignments from their employers, including workshop tasks, driving, plowing, and other job-related activities. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use RafticTask4.

By using RafticTask4, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. This Privacy Policy is accessible within RafticTask4 via the Settings menu and on our Google Play Store listing.

Information Collection and Use

We collect the following personal information to provide and improve RafticTask4:

• Name, address, and phone number: To create and manage user accounts and facilitate task-related communications with your employer.
• Travel log: To track where work is performed (e.g., during a plowing mission to generate a tracklog indicating completed work). This data is only collected when you manually enable tracking in the app via a "Start Tracking" button with a clear consent prompt, ensuring you have full control. You can disable tracking at any time.
• Log data: When you use RafticTask4, we collect device data such as IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, and usage timestamps to diagnose errors and improve performance.

We process this data under the following legal bases (as required by GDPR):

• Consent: For travel log data, which you provide by manually enabling and starting tracking.
• Contractual necessity: To provide core app functionality (e.g., task management and assignment distribution).
• Legitimate interests: For log data to ensure app stability and security.

Third-Party Services

RafticTask4 currently does not use any third-party services that collect data to identify you. Should we introduce such services in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required.

Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except as required by law (e.g., to comply with Norwegian legal obligations or protect our rights). If this changes, we will notify you and update this policy.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above, typically for the duration of your account’s existence or employment-related use. Travel logs are retained until you complete or delete the associated task, or until you request deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated data, including travel logs, by contacting us at stig@fibreworks.no. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where required to retain it by law (e.g., for tax purposes).

User Rights

As RafticTask4 is available only in Norway, you are entitled to the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability (export your data).
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., by disabling travel log tracking in the app).

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all data collection by RafticTask4 by uninstalling the app using your device’s standard uninstall process. For travel logs, you can opt out at any time by disabling tracking in the app settings or during a task session.

Security

We use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, including:

• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256.
• Access controls: Only authorized personnel can access user data, with strict authentication measures.

However, no method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

RafticTask4 is designed exclusively for adult employees and is intended for business use (e.g., task assignment and tracking). It does not target or appeal to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact us at stig@fibreworks.no.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted here and are effective immediately. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notifications.
